DR. CHIA-HSUN CHUANG

I'm a cosmologist working at the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC-Stanford/SLAC). My research activities concern cosmology and my main research interest is unveiling the nature of dark energy. At present, I am especially interested in extracting dark energy constraints from the large scale structure of the universe. Currently, I am mainly working on the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) projects (co-chairing Cosmology Simulation working group), and involved in extended Baryon Oscillation Sky Survey (eBOSS), Dark Energy Survey (DES), Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST), and Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope (WFIRST) projects. In addition, I am leading the UNIT simulation project to prepare the reference simulations validating the theoretical models of large-scale structure.
